Strawberry Park Fun Run Fundraiser

What is the Fun Run?

A school wide event where every student gets to run 2 times throughout the day to raise money for Strawberry Park. They raise money by getting donations and/or pledges from family and friends to run laps at our Middle School track just across the way!

This is our BIGGEST FUNDRAISER of the year and we made over $28k last year!

When and where is the Fun Run?

Thursday, October 5

AM

• 9:15 - 10:00 - 4th & 5th
• 10:05 - 10:50 - K & 1st
• 11:00 - 11:45 - 2nd & 3rd

PM

• 12:55 - 1:40 - K
• 1:00 - 1:45 - 2nd
• 1:45 - 2:30 - 3rd & 5th
• 2:30 - 3:10 - 1st
• 2:30 - 3:15 - 4th

Students will run half (K-2nd) or full (3rd-5th) laps on the Middle School track during 20 minutes of each of their Specials’ classes on October 5th (once in the am, and once in the pm)

How do we raise money?

Let’s help our students reach out to family, friends, and neighbors to ask for pledges or flat donations for each half/full lap they run. And be sure to let them know it’s for a good cause and may be tax deductible – please check with your accountant.

PayPal donations will be accepted and are preferred, (see QR CODE on attached form or use this link: https://bit.ly/SPEDONATE) but we will also accept cash or check.

Please enter their Last Name, First Name, Teacher name in “Notes” on Paypal. If sending cash or check, please use the provided manilla envelope to return to your child(s) teacher(s) and include child’s name and teacher on the “Memo” line. Students will receive the manilla envelopes soon!

All donations/pledges are due no later than October 18th, 2023.

 

PRIZES! PRIZES! PRIZES! There will be awesome prizes for the top earning class, and the top class in each grade to raise the most money will get a prize as well!
