The Steamboat Springs Rotary Club and the Steamboat Ski Town Rotary Club have announced that ten local students have been selected to receive the Rotary Youth Leadership Award for 2026.  These students will have all expenses paid to attend an intensive weeklong leadership development program at the YMCA of the Rockies in Estes Park this summer.  Participants will build skills in communication, problem-solving, team dynamics, ethics, and community service while networking with Rotarians and peers.

Students selected include:

  • Morgan Garrett, an 11th grader at SSHS

  • Carleigh Klingemann, a 10th grader at SSHS

  • Jackson MacEntee, a 10th grader at SSHS

  • Ben Richman, a 10th grader at SSHS

  • Kai Rochon, an 11th grader at SSHS
